Consumer Protection Database
As you know consumer protection is one of my top priorities. I fought to ensure victims of unfair lending practices can recover damages from banks and credit card companies, and I am fighting for similar protections against fraudulent insurance practices. In the same spirit of consumer advocacy, the attorney general has created a searchable database allowing Oregonians to research consumer complaints against companies. Any Oregonian can now make informed decisions for their families and their own businesses. The website is: www.oregonattorneygeneral.gov/beinformed.
