Successful forums with Sen Metsger and District Attorney Foote
I deeply appreciate the dozens of people who attended the latest two installments of my forums.
In the last event to be held in the beautiful Hood River library, Senator Rick Metsger and I discussed Oregon's economic challenges and the opportunities we must seize to prepare Oregon for the new world economy.
The following day I hosted a public safety forum in the Sandy Senior Center. Captain Layng of the Clackamas Sheriff's office put our work in context by giving crime statistics in the Sandy area. I was joined by Clackamas District Attorney John Foote to answer questions about crime and what the state and county can do about it.
